Hello and welcome to my listing
These are lovely speakers true testament to the quality back in the day
Ive sold these once before but apparently they were a bit too "fizzy" for the previous buyer. We have tested them again and we can't really work out what this means! They are speakers from the 80s that are used so may have a little something to them but as much as I have ever known "fizzy" sounds come from amp issues!
I think the main issue is people buy these as guitar speakers which they are not. These are not from a guitar cab. These are from a pa speaker mainly used for keyboard/synth back in the day.
TEST REPORT
"Tested speakers. Can't fault them. Tested from 10hz where you can see the cone move. No discernable coil rub. Ran up to 8khz, Used a frequency test app on the phone. Then built them into a pa cabinet. Hot results expected. No "fizzing" type sounds present. Age related tone and usage. Still given age a nice sound presented"
I wont be taking a return on them again. If you want them you buy them with the knowledge that they are aged BUT they work! They are a second hand set of speakers so will obviously not work like brand new ones but they still work well. But also if you put them In the wrong cab/amp!
if yours has a blown speaker this will sort you out perfectly.
