Cream ironstone advertising mustard pot without lid.   French country scene on one side and the Queen’s crest on the other side above the Royal Warrant “BY APPOINTMENT TO HER MAJESTY QUEEN ELIZABETH II. GROCERS & PROVISION MERCHANTS. FORTNUM & MASON LTD. LONDON”.

 

Transfer printed on the base with “CROWN DEVON FIELDINGS. MADE IN ENGLAND” and embossed with the number 1453. Also has original weight sticker with some fading. Good vintage condition with crazing to the glaze and a hairline crack at the rim (shown in the photos). The lid is no longer available.
